World's Oldest Goldfish Dead at 43

  1. It's Worth
August 8, 1999 - 0:0
LONDON Tish, the world's oldest goldfish, has died at the age of 43 and been buried in a garden in North-East England, DPA quoted the daily Telegraph as saying Saturday. The goldfish was kept as a pet over the years by the hand family in Thirsk, Yorkshire, after seven-year-old Peter hand won it as a roll-a-penny prize at the Doncaster fairground in 1956. The family was able to document the age of the pet and it was entered in the guinness book of records last year as the oldest goldfish known in the world.
